Treehouse Seventh Heaven

Not in our wildest dreams did we suspect that so many people wanted to live in a tree. To meet demand, we decided to build another house in the treetops – as unique and as special as Andrum. The first step was to name our vision the ‘Seventh Heaven’.

With the name decided upon, we began our creation. Inspiration was collected from ancient buildings including Trosa, old Linköping, Hjo and not least from Mössebergsparken in Falköping. We thought of a beautiful house – something like “Wholesale Dealer’s summer cottage in the archipelago” from the early 1900′s. No castle, but still very intricate carpentry. To sleep outside under the starry sky is the best thing to experience, but perhaps not always easy to adapt the weather. We were very excited and inspired by both the characters so it had to be a mixture.

frukost / breakfast In the tower room you can sit at the round table under the chandelier and feel the same as the wholesaler probably did in his time. When one is in the comfortable bed with the stars shining in the ceiling above, then it is the world famous fairy tale “Arabian Nights” that comes to mind.

Green thread is a running theme throughout. Natural color pigments are whipped together with linseed oil and eggs from the neighbor’s hens. The beautiful organic fabric from Gudrun Sjödén awakens the joy of the soul. In the double bed you sleep well on the organic mattresses from Grön Interiör.

Idyllic and with much fine carpentry.

Happiness is to be wrapped in a warm blanket on a deck chair, reading a good book and doze a little while.
